Palm Sunday 2025

-Michael Sullivan

The Church of Saint Luke celebrated Palm Sunday on April 13th, 2025 with the Confirmation students and the Youth Group dressing up as Jesus Christ, Mary the Mother of God, and Christ’s followers riding into Jerusalem. The pageant was performed at the 10:30 am Mass after starting the service outside with the Gospel Acclamation and palm branches.

Father Quinnan blessed the palms, Deacon Phil read the Gospel, and then the entire congregation was led in procession into the Church by the students dressed as Christ and his followers.

After the procession, the rest of the Palm Sunday Mass was celebrated and the Passion narrative of our Lord according to the Gospel of Luke was recited by the Parish. The full Mass with the procession of the children can be viewed on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1A9M965Ngc/
