First Annual Church of Saint Luke Golf Tournament Sponsorship
Hello, Friend of the Church of Saint Luke,
The Church of Saint Luke has had a long and proud history of summer festival fun. There have been 48 summer festivals with thousands of people visiting our grounds and celebrating with our parishioners. Our Summer Festival had been a major source of revenue for our Church and for the mission of our Church. However, just as our mission has been adjusted for today’s world, so have our fundraising needs. Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, is quoted as saying “change is the only constant in life.” To meet the needs of our Church in today’s changing world, we are planning a new way to fundraise this year.
This Golf Tournament will replace the summer festival as our primary fundraiser. Our goal is to make this an annual event that will provide the same level of fellowship, community and resources that are so needed in our parish and community. The proceeds of our golf tournament will provide financial support to our parish, and more importantly, for the many programs that help our community. We host our Community Meals each Saturday and our outreach services to the needy are growing.
We are planning a fun and entertaining event. The golf tournament is a scramble format that will begin with registration at 12:00 p.m. Awards and prizes for Tournament Winners, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Hole in One will be awarded at dinner. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 and an Italian buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 with The Artisan Band playing for our entertainment and dancing after dinner.
We are asking for your help in sponsoring our Golf Tournament whether it be by hosting a foursome for $500 or by additional sponsorship opportunities. If you wish to take advantage of our advertising sponsorships, please review our sponsorship opportunities included with this letter. In consideration of your donation, you will receive recognition by having your name/logo listed in the program. Several sponsorship levels are available and come with additional recognition. This is a wonderful way to promote your business and support a great cause that will touch many individuals and ministries.
